With over 50,000 students, Deakin University is Australia’s 8th largest university. It is a university on a strong trajectory: making a distinctive contribution to higher education nationally and globally and continues to contribute significantly to the economic, environmental and cultural life of each of its local communities. Deakin ranked 45 in the 2015 Times Higher Education top 100 universities under 50 years and ranks in the top 3 per cent of the world’s universities in each of the three major global rankings. Deakin has ranked first in student satisfaction in Victoria for five consecutive years, 2010 to 2014.

The University Library is central to Deakin’s drive to be a leader at the digital frontier. Deakin’s well-established digital library enables discovery of the world’s scholarship and knowledge for students, staff and researchers wherever they are at any time.
